Kingdom Connection
Today’s readings reveal God’s plan to bring Jews and Gentiles together into one spiritual household through Jesus Christ.
Paul tells first-century believers that the mystery hidden throughout previous generations had now been revealed through the apostles and prophets.
The Gentiles were no longer outsiders but fellow heirs of God’s promises. Through the New Covenant, they shared equally in Christ’s spiritual inheritance.
Jesus also prepared His first-century disciples for His coming, warning them to remain faithful and watchful. Those entrusted with the knowledge of God’s Kingdom carried a greater responsibility.
God’s long-hidden plan was being fulfilled through Christ, bringing Jews and Gentiles together as fellow citizens and heirs of His everlasting Kingdom.
